I'm a current Duke student

Current Duke students renew their aid applications every year. Click the link below to learn more about what you'll need to submit for your renewal application.

Renew Your Aid

Did you know? You'll submit a new aid application each year you're at Duke, with updated income and asset information. If your family's financial circumstances remain similar year to year, you can expect your aid to be similar as well.

November 1: Early Decision Deadline

Complete your CSS Profile by November 1, and keep an eye on your applicant portal to see if we request any additional documents. Please submit any additional requested documents promptly.

February 1: Regular Decision Deadline

Complete your FAFSA and CSS Profile by February 1, and keep an eye on your applicant portal to see if we request any additional documents. Please submit any additional requested documents promptly!

If your aid application isn't complete by the deadline, don't worry--your total eligibility for aid won't change.

We'll keep processing financial aid applications as they come in, however, so please get your  CSS Profile (and any extra documents) in as soon as you can to receive your aid offer with your offer of admission.

Complete your FAFSA as soon as you are able, but we understand delays by the Department of Education have made that challenging for many students. Rest assured, your eligibility for total aid isn't depending on meeting the FAFSA deadlines, but please file it when you can. We'll need that to be able to place your full aid offer on your billing statement later this summer.
